sunblock with the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light.
How many minutes per day do I need to treat myself with the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light?
Choose a treatment regimen that's most convenient for you. Either
treat affected areas once a day for 5 minutes or split treatments, and
use the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light for 2½ minutes in the morning
and 2½ minutes at night. Choose whatever regimen is easiest for you.
Do I use the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light for 5 minutes on each area of the face?
Continuously and evenly glide the tip of the device over your
face. You can treat your entire face for 5 minutes a day or concentrate
on the areas that concern you the most for 5 minutes each.
What are those square patches for and do I need to use them with the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light?
The square patches are treatment guides. You can use the enclosed
treatment guide squares to concentrate on affected areas. Or, for best
results, use a painting method. Continuously and evenly glide the tip of
the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light over your face.
If you choose to target your treatment with the treatment guides,
apply them to the area of skin with pimples or pustules. The cut-out
square in the middle of the guide is the treatment area. Then simply
glide the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light over the treatment area like
you are painting your face with the light.
Note: The guide is flexible so that you can bend it around a
curved part of your face, like the chin or nose. Make sure that all four
edges of the guide are on your skin and that there is skin everywhere in
the treatment area. If you can’t use the guide properly on an area of
skin, do not treat that area.
Warning: Do not put the treatment guide around any part of your
eyes or eyelids. Treating your eyes or eyelids could cause serious eye
injury, including blindness or temporary loss of vision.
Why does the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light need cartridges?
The Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light 2-Month cartridge supplies
the device with 60 days or 300 minutes of treatment. The cartridge
activates the Blue Light device, allowing it to deliver professional
levels of therapeutic blue light deep into the skin. When the cartridge
runs out of minutes, the display will signal that it's time for a new
cartridge.
Can I use Benzoyl Peroxide when using the Blue Light?
You can use Benzoyl Peroxide with the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue
Light but you may find you won't need it. The Tria Skin Perfecting Blue
Light works quickly and effectively by targeting acne-causing bacteria
beneath the skin. It gently clears breakouts without harsh ingredients
or harmful health effects and it has superior tolerability over leading
acne treatments. The result is an elimination of blemished clogged
pores, pimples and acne breakouts, and a bright, clear complexion.
